Sitabai Kulkarni Research Prize 2006-07” for the excellent Ph.D. thesis entitled “French Maratha Relations” (1668-1818) in History amongst the Ph.D. Theses and research work (published / unpublished) submitted to Shivaji University by the researchers of Shivaji University departments during the period 2005- 2006.

• Award of Social Scientist under the Indo-French Social Scientist Exchange Programme, 2007. Nominated to visit Paris under the Indo-French Cultural Exchange Programme, 2007.

• Awarded the State Level Best Teacher Award -2011, by “Aaviskar Social and Educational Foundation”, Kolhapur (Maharashtra State).

• Awarded the Prestigious “Mahamahopadhya Datto Waman Potdar Award” by Maharashtra Literature Board, Pune for bringing out excellent literature in History, 2011-2012, (Marathi) language, entitled ‘French-Maratha Sambandh’1668-1818’
